- New KTM RC200 likely to be launched soon
- Will feature a 250 Adventure-style instrument cluster
- Feature list will include a halogen headlight
KTM India continues to test the next-generation RC200, and a test mule of the motorcycle was recently seen somewhere near Pune, Maharashtra. The official photographs of the next-generation RC200 were leaked earlier this month, giving us a glimpse at the updated styling and a few features. These latest spy images give a brief look at the cockpit of the motorcycle, revealing the updated instrument cluster that the upcoming RC200 will use.
While the photographs do not give a close look at the instrument cluster, the unit looks very similar to the console that is used on the 250 Adventure. The large LCD screen on the adventure tourer packs a plethora of information that is easier to read. The outgoing version, on the other hand, features a compact LCD, orange backlit unit. Other features on the next-generation KTM RC200 will include a halogen headlight, fairing-mounted turn indicators, five-spoke alloy wheels, and an under belly exhaust.
The details about the mechanical specifications are limited at the moment, although we could see similar power and torque output numbers as the BS6-compliant engine on the outgoing model. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine makes 25bhp of power and 19Nm of peak torque.
