- Spy images reveal touring-focussed accessories
- To use 350cc engine from the Classic 350
- India launch likely in August 2022
A test mule of the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350 was spotted just days ahead of its India launch that is scheduled for August 2022. This upcoming motorcycle from the Chennai-based manufacturer will be the most affordable model in the company’s portfolio and is expected to sit below the Bullet 350.
The latest spy images of the new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 reveal the optional accessories for the motorcycle. These accessories, which aim to improve the touring capabilities of the motorcycle, include a fly-screen at the front and a pillion backrest. Apart from the optional extras, the spy images also give a clear look at the halogen headlight assembly, LED turn indicators, compact exhaust canister, and alloy wheels on this upcoming motorcycle.
The details about the mechanical specifications are still under cover, but we expect this new model to share its engine with the new Classic 350. Thus, the new Hunter 350 will use Royal Enfield’s J-platform motor in a 348cc, single-cylinder configuration. The power and torque output, too, are likely to remain similar to Royal Enfield Classic 350.
The new Hunter 350 is expected to be launched in the first week of August 2022. Once launched, it will rival the likes of Yamaha FZ25, Suzuki Gixxer, and Pulsar 250 as well.
