- Alloy wheels shod in CEAT Zoom Cruz tyres
- Likely to get the tripper navigation system
- Debut likely at the 2022 EICMA motorcycle show
The new Royal Enfield Meteor 650 has been spied once again ahead of its India debut in November 2022. The newest spy images reveal a test mule with no camouflage and chrome treatment for the rear-view mirrors, exhaust canisters, and taillight surround. The headlight, on the other hand, appears to have brushed aluminium-finished garnishing.
The photographs also give a glimpse at the alloy wheels – a feature that is yet to arrive on the company’s existing 650cc motorcycles. Further, as seen in the images, the alloy wheels will be shod in CEAT Zoom Cruz tyres.
The cruiser-style ergonomics have been achieved through a rear-swept handlebar and forward-set footpegs. It will also get an updated hardware setup and the suspension department will include upside-down front forks instead of conventional units on the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The shock absorption tasks at the back will be handled by twin-sided springs. The braking setup will comprise single discs on both wheels while the safety net will have dual-channel ABS.
The motorcycle also seems to be equipped with the tripper navigation system – a first for the 650cc range for Royal Enfield. However, it is still not clear if the feature will be available as a standard or as an optional accessory. Do note that the tripper navigation system is available as an option on the Meteor 350.
The new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is expected to debut at the 2022 EICMA motorcycle show in November before arriving in India. It is expected to be showcased at the Royal Enfield Rider Mania in Goa.
