Here is a spy shot of Triumph’s upcoming Bobber. This Triumph was spotted testing over a year and it appears as if not much has changed. At that time, sources suggested it would join the manufacturer’s line up in 2017. The newest spy shot could mean Triumph is in its final stage of testing.
From the looks of it, it appears as if the British motorcycle manufacturer is looking to make the most of its water-cooled Bonneville engine. Plonking it into a variety of motorcycles including this Bobber. However, the Bobber gets its own unique frame with a hardtail rear end. The motorcycle also appears to be a dedicated single-seater with no pillion seat provision.
The earlier spy shots and latest show that the motorcycle will use only a single disc brake up front. Another clear-cut fact is that the motorcycle is using the 1200cc T120 engine with a custom exhaust set up. And if you are wondering what Triumph might call it… The British motorcycle manufacturer has officially applied for a trademark on the name ‘Bonneville Bobber’.
