- Could be priced between Rs 2.4-2.5 lakh
TVS Motor Company is all set to launch the Apache RTR 310; their most awaited motorcycle of the year on 6 September. Now, the Hosur-based manufacturer has released a video teasing its launch.
The new teaser video reveals a few elements of the Apache RTR 310. To begin with the motorcycle gets a split-type seat with a glimpse of the subframe. This unit is likely to come with an aluminum finish and seems similar to what the KTM 790 Duke receives. Other than that, the TVS Apache RTR 310 is also likely to get a slightly aggressive rider triangle and a rectangular TFT screen. The colour display unit would also come with the brand’s SmartXonnect feature.
Underneath, the TVS Apache RTR 310 would get underpinnings like inverted front forks, a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear along with ABS. The streetfighter will come powered by a 313cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that would produce 33bhp and 27.3Nm of torque.
That said, the Apache RTR 310 would be priced lower than ist full-faired counterpart which is priced at Rs 2.65 lakh. So, we can expect it to come with a price tag between Rs 2.40 lakh to Rs 2.50 lakh, ex-showroom. As for competition, the motorcycle will go up against the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G310R and the KTM 250 Duke as well.
