- Bajaj Dominar 250 gets black alloy wheels
- Remains unchanged in all other areas
After the Pulsar NS200 and NS160, Bajaj has now bestowed the Dominar 250 with black alloy wheels, replacing the previous white and silver units. One such example of the Dominar 250 was recently spotted at what looks like a dealer stock yard.
Apart from the inclusion of new alloy wheels, nothing seems to have changed in the Dominar 250. The spotted bike sported a dual-tone red-silver colour scheme which has been available for a long time now and we expect other colour options too to be retained. Moreover, this update is unlikely to bring any changes to its ex-showroom (Delhi) price tag of Rs 1.64 lakh.
The Dominar 250, just like its 400cc sibling, boasts a power cruiser styling with a bold fascia and beefy body panels. It comes equipped with a full-LED lighting system and a digital instrument cluster with an auxiliary display on the fuel tank. To make it easier to mount luggage, Bajaj also provides small straps under the seat.
Propelling the Dominar 250 is a 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 26.6bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 23.5Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. As for cycle parts, the bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with upside down forks and a monoshock. The stopping power comes from a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
