Bajaj Motorcycles will launch the updated Pulsar 200NS by December this year. The company had taken this motorcycle off the shelves last year due to poor sales.
Bajaj launched the AS200 to replace the Pulsar 200NS and add little freshness in terms of design in the segment. However, the former also failed to excite the market and the result was average sales. But it looks like the Pune-based manufacturer feels this is the right time to bring back the 200NS.
Rajiv Bajaj, MD, Bajaj Motorcycles was recently quoted saying that the company would launch the 2017 range of Pulsar between September and December. While the upcoming 400cc Bajaj motorcycle launch has been shifted to November, we believe that December is when the company will get the refreshed Pulsar 200NS. Interestingly, a couple of months ago, the two Pulsar 200NS prototypes equipped with ABS were spotted testing. The refreshed Pulsar 200NS is expected to get this safety equipment along with new decals and paint schemes. As per a Bajaj dealer, the company has taken a lot of feedback from their dealers on the Pulsar 200NS and promised to act on all of them. So it’ll be interesting to see how the updated 200NS turns out to be. Once launched, this motorcycle will compete with the TVS Apache 200 4V.
