- Pulsar NS160 gets revised colour scheme
- No change in price or mechanicals
- To be offered across India soon
The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 has received a minor update and was spotted at a dealership recently, hinting that it will be officially launched soon.
Now, the update is purely cosmetic and consists of new paint for the alloy wheels. While the previous model was launched with flashy, white wheels to complement its white frame, the new version comes with black wheels. This change is undoubtedly due to customer feedback for the Pulsar NS160 with white wheels which are prone to get soiled sooner. However, the motorcycle did look unique then. Besides that, Bajaj also seems to have tweaked the seating a bit, most likely adding it with better cushioning.
Apart from these changes, the Pulsar NS160 remains the same. It is offered in three colours- white, red, and grey and is powered by a 160cc engine that produces 15.3bhp and 14.6Nm. The motorcycle isn’t big on features and comes with the bare minimum that includes a single-channel ABS, semi-digital instrument cluster, LED tail lamp and side-stand engine cut off. That said, the update is likely to bring a slight hike in pricing. Currently, the Pulsar NS160 costs Rs 1.19 lakh, (ex-showroom). In terms of competition, the Pulsar NS160 goes up against the Hero Xtreme 160R.
