- Likely to get new colours
- Could also benefit from a fully digital instrument console
- Will retain the same 199cc single-cylinder engine
After multiple teasers, it is evident that Bajaj is indeed gearing up to launch an updated Pulsar RS 200. The brand has teased the same again on its social media handles and we expect an official announcement from Bajaj sometime early next week.
The updated Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is likely to get the same design and hardware to some extent. So, we expect the twin projector lights along with the cuts and creases on the angular fairing all over. However, Bajaj could introduce a few new colours for the 2025 Pulsar RS 200.
Apart from the aesthetic changes, the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 could also get a new fully digital instrument console, similar to the one we see on the NS200. It will pack all the necessary readouts like the speedometer, rev counter, odometer, and fuel level readout along with smartphone connectivity for calls, SMS notifications and more.
It will be powered by the same 199cc single-cylinder engine that makes 24.13bhp and 18.74 Nm and it is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Even the telescopic front forks and the monoshock along with the front and rear disc brake with ABS will be carried over. It will ride on 17-inch wheels wrapped in road-biased tyres.
With the few updates that we expect Bajaj to introduce for the Pulsar RS 200, its asking price could be slightly higher than the current model. For reference, the RS 200 is currently priced at Rs. 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
