- Teased on Bajaj Auto’s social media handles
- Likely to get more features
- Could also cost more than before
Bajaj Auto has released multiple teasers of an upcoming Pulsar model on its social media handles. While the first video only teased an exhaust note, the latest one has revealed more details and hints of an updated RS 200. If Bajaj is bringing the Pulsar RS200 with new updates, then here is what it could get.
While the RS200’s sporty and youthful design has always been enticing, it would be nice to see a few new colours and some aesthetic updates to the model. We expect the bike to carry the majority of designs from the current model but with a few revised angles. That said, the twin projector headlight is likely to be carried over.
Then, just like the NS200, the Pulsar RS 200 too could get a new fully digital display with smartphone connectivity. It will pack a speedometer, rev counter, odometer, and fuel level readout and get notifications for calls, SMS and more. With this, the RS is likely to get a revised switch-cube too. It will be powered by the same engine that does duties on the NS200 - a 199cc single-cylinder engine that makes 24.13bhp and 18.74 Nm and it is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The updated Pulsar RS200’s hardware will include USD front forks and a monoshock along with a front and rear disc mounted on 17-inch wheels.
Bajaj currently sells the Pulsar RS 200 for Rs. 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). We expect the updated model to cost a little more than this.
