- Leaked from the model available overseas
- India launch soon
- Will get mechanical updates
Hero MotoCorp is set to unveil the updated Xpulse 200T in India very soon. It recently released a teaser and now an overseas walkaround video on Youtube has revealed the bike up close.
On the list of updates, the Hero Xpulse 200T will get a redesigned fascia since the headlight is positioned lower than before. The fork tubes are also gaitered and the LED headlight is topped by a body colour visor. The Xpulse 200T also gets a new tubular tail rack at the rear instead of a luggage rack and Hero also added a bell pan for protection.
The most important update for the Hero commuter comes in the form of a new four-valve setup for its 199.6cc single-cylinder, oil/air-cooled motor. It replaces the previous two-valve configuration and is set to bump up the power figures to 18.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.
For the features, it’ll retain the fully digital instrumentation with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. The front forks, rear springs, and front/rear disc brake setup will remain unaltered. That said, the aforementioned updates are likely to result in a price bump. You can expect Hero to price the updated Xpulse 200T at Rs 1.28-1.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
