- Gets a new colour scheme
- Likely to benefit from the 4-valve setup
- To be launched soon
Back in July, we brought you the first image of the upcoming Hero Xpulse 200 T. The bike’s set to receive some notable updates for the next iteration. Now, another image of the bike has been leaked revealing even new details.
As seen in the latest leaked photo, the Hero Xpulse 200T gets minor tweaks on the design front as well. Apart from the new headlight setup along with the fly screen and the fork gaiters, the bike is likely to feature a new belly pan design too. The latter covers the exhaust bend pipe, unlike the previous unit which left it open. Even the pillion grab rail has been changed to a tube unit which seems more functional than the current model’s unit.
Similar to the Xpulse 200 4V, the Xpulse 200T will now be powered by a 199.6cc single-cylinder oil/air-cooled 4-valve motor. This means the output figures too could see a small bump. In its current setup, the Xpulse 200T’s 2-valve motor makes 17.83 bhp and 16.15 Nm.
Currently, Hero has priced the Xpulse 200T at Rs 1,24,278 (ex-showroom Delhi). Considering the upcoming models will get cosmetic and mechanical tweaks, we expect the manufacturer to hike the price by a few thousand rupees.
