- Launch likely soon
Hero MotoCorp will soon update its Indian portfolio with the launch of the updated Xpulse 200T. The Indian manufacturer has released a teaser image of this upcoming motorcycle. The updated model was spotted earlier this year during a commercial shoot, wherein a leaked photograph shoot revealed its updated styling.
This new version of the Xpulse 200T will receive significant aesthetic changes, and the motorcycle will get a revised front fascia. The headlamp unit is now placed lower while the fork tubes are covered with gaiters. It also gets a body-coloured fly-screen above the headlight, a new belly pan, and a tube-type pillion grab rail instead of the luggage rack setup at the back.
Apart from the styling, the mechanical specifications, too, are likely to get a major update and the new Xpulse 200T, similar to the Xpulse 200 4V, will get a four-valve setup. The 199.6cc single-cylinder, oil/air-cooled, four-valve motor on the Xpulse 200 4V is tuned to develop 18.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.
All updates will result in a price increase and we can expect the upcoming Hero Xpulse 200T to be available between Rs 1.28-1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) price range.
