Updated Kawasaki Ninja 300 teased ahead of launch

Kawasaki India has teased the updated Ninja ahead of its launch here. The Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer has released a teaser image of this upcoming motorcycle on its social media handles. While the teaser image does not reveal many details, we expect the 2022 model to remain identical to the outgoing version. However, the new model may feature a revised paint scheme and graphics.

The 2022 model is currently available in three colours – Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Ebony. All colours are available at Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Meanwhile, the existing model is already BS6-compliant and thus we do not expect to see any changes to the mechanical specifications. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the 296cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine is tuned to deliver 38.88bhp at 111,000rpm and 26.1Nm of peak torque at 10,000rpm.

The launch details are unavailable yet but we expect to hear an official announcement very soon.
