The KTM Duke 390 ABS has been doing its duty in the Indian market since last two years. With its brilliant power figure and an aggressive price tag, the Duke 390 became the value for money mid-level performance motorcycle in India.
The only changes the 390 Duke got over the last few months are the introduction of a new paint scheme and a slipper clutch. While the bike still manages to sell in decent numbers, the Austrian manufacturer is readying its updated model. As per a site, the Indian arm has imported two 390 Duke prototypes for research and development. The import information says that these bikes are of 2017 MY, making us believe that the facelifted 390 Duke will come to us only after few months. However, KTM has the habit of launching the bikes early and we won’t be surprised if the updated Duke 390 makes its way to the next EICMA show.
The company hasn’t played with the displacement of the 2017 model and will continue to be a 374cc engine. What we can get is an updated power figures, styling , maybe few tweaks to the chassis and obviously, a revised pricing.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more information on the new KTM Duke 390.
