- To get an LED setup for the headlight, taillight, and pilot lamps
- Will remain mechanically unchanged
- To be offered in multiple variants
Royal Enfield is set to update its Classic 350 very soon with a few new features. The bike could get an LED headlight along with the pilot lamps and tail light. The updated model could be launched in the first half of August 2024 and similar to the current model, the refreshed Classic 350 will also be offered in multiple variants.
As of now, Royal Enfield offers the Classic 350 in six different trims. These also differ in the ABS options, colours, and braking setup. The current base model of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is priced at Rs. 1.93 lakh whereas the top-spec Classic Chrome with dual-channel ABS retails at Rs. 2.24 lakh (both, ex-showroom, Delhi).
We expect the updated Classic 350 to demand a small premium over the current model. Apart from the updates, the bike is expected to be the same on the mechanical and design front. It will continue to use the same J-series 349cc, air/oil-cooled engine. The motor makes 20.2bhp and 27Nm. It is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The retro style design with chunky bodywork too remains unaltered.
The current Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been around for a few years and the addition of new features would be a welcome change. Its current feature list is quite limited and outdated in a manner.
