-Shows design tweaks and new colour
-Likely to be called Yezdi Adventure 350
-Updates to the engine expected to improve refinement
The updated Yezdi Adventure is all set to be launched soon and in the run-up, the company has rolled out a teaser on social media platforms. We had reported about the updated Yezdi Adventure being in the works a few weeks ago when we spotted the test mule. The teaser image shows a few yet important details about the bike.
The new Yezdi Adventure will feature new colours and graphics on the fuel tank. The bike shown in the images is maroon/black, dual-tone in colour, with a white line bisecting the two. The tank rails are new and smaller than the ones on the current Yezdi Adventure. It looks like a much neater design and we like the plastic insert that has the ‘EST 69’ sticker, showing the year the company was established.
Besides cosmetic changes, there will be mechanical changes as well. The current Yezdi Adventure’s engine was critiqued for its NVH levels. The company is said to have made improvements to the engine to significantly improve refinement and NVH. The 334cc liquid-cooled motor will more or less produce similar output numbers and will come paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Another change we expect, basis the test mule that was spotted is the new exhaust pipe as well as routing. Unlike the previous bike where the exhaust pipe goes along the side of the engine, the new exhaust pipe header moves from under the engine to the rear portion of the exhaust. As a consequence, the coolant reservoir has also been shifted from the area behind the sump guard to behind the airbox.
Yezdi is also expected to introduce more features and perhaps tweak the suspension as well. Yezdi is expected to launch the bike soon and it will go up against the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
