The BMW K1600 GT seems like the last motorcycle to act as the host for a custom motorcycle. After all, it is a luxury tourer, fit to take on the likes of Honda GoldWing, Triumph Trophy SE and the Yamaha FJR1300A. However, this didn’t stop the Spanish blokes at Valtoron workshop from creating this stripped down custom motorcycle, based on the BMW K1600 GT. Meet the Valtoron La Bulla.
Designed by artist and sculptor Raphael Muyor, the La Bulla, or the Bull, was first created by plastering clay directly on the host motorcycle. Once the customer was blown away by the resulting design, the Delgado brothers from Valtoron workshop used recycled aluminium to cast the body panels, which were then welded on to the monocoque chassis. The front was equipped with a Harley-Davidson Daymaker headlamp, while the stock alloy wheels were replaced with BST carbon wheels.
At the heart of the La Bulla is the same 1,649cc inline six cylinder engine, which puts out 158bhp and 175Nm of torque. The engine breathes out of a custom six-port Hattech exhaust system. The report on ReturnOfTheCafeRacers says that the owner of this custom motorcycle took it on a road trip through Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland and Germany, which says something about the La Bulla’s reliability.
