-150cc variants get ABS; 125cc equipped with CBS.

Piaggio has updated the Vespa and Aprilia line-up with a single-channel ABS (Anti-lock braking system) a few months before the mandatory ABS regulations kick-in.
The Vespa 150 ABS range which consists of the VXL 150, SXL 150 and Elegante 150 are priced at Rs 98,310, Rs 1.02 lakhs and Rs 1.08 lakhs respectively. Meanwhile, the ABS variants of the Aprilia SR 150, SR 150 Carbon and SR 150 Race cost Rs 89,850, Rs 82,550 and Rs 89,550 each.
The 125cc range for both brands too has also been updated with CBS (combined-braking system). While the Vespa VXL 125 CBS retails at Rs 88,250, the SXL 125 CBS is priced at Rs 91,250. On the other hand, the Aprilia SR 125 CBS has been priced at Rs 69,250.
Apart from the ABS and CBS units, the scooters get no mechanical or cosmetic changes. These variants are already available in all dealerships across India.
