Piaggio India has listed its Vespa branded scooters on the e-commerce platform, Paytm. The list includes the BS6-compliant version of the company’s Vespa Notte 125cc scooter that has been priced at Rs 91,492. In comparison, the BS4 version was sold at Rs 72,030.
The scooter, similar to the rest of the BS4 products from the two-wheeler manufacturer, does not get many styling revisions. Thus, the BS6-compliant Vespa Notte continues to feature a matte black paint. The scooter is based on Vespa LX125.
Engine specifications include a 125cc, single-cylinder, three-valve motor with a fuel injection system that produces 9.78bhp at 7,500rpm and 9.6Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. The power and torque output are lower than the BS4 variant of the Vespa Notte 125 that produced 10bhp and 10.6Nm.
The braking setup comprises of 149mm front drum brake and 140mm rear drum brake. A front disc brake is not available even as an option. The safety net includes CBS tech as standard. The shock absorption tasks are handled by a single sidearm front suspension with Anti-Dive Characteristics and dual-effect hydraulic rear shock absorber.
