Piaggio India updated its product portfolio with the launch of new variants of its SXL range, the Racing Sixties. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the new Vespa Racing Sixties.
The Vespa SXL Racing Sixties come in two displacement options – 125cc and 150cc. The 150 variant uses a 149cc, three-valve, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 10.2bhp and 10.6Nm. The 125 version is powered by a 125cc, three-valve engine that makes 9.7bhp and 9.6Nm.
The Racing Sixties come with a special paint job inspired by the racing liveries from the 1960s. The white paint job is accompanied by red racing stripes running across various panels such as front fender, apron, handlebar cowl and rear panel.
The styling cues are further enhanced by the gold-coloured alloy wheels. Both the scooters ride on 11-inch front and 10-inch rear wheels.
The feature list is similar to the standard SXL series. Thus, the Racing Sixties come with an LED headlamp, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 7.4-litre fuel tank and front storage pockets.
The hardware on the Racing Sixties, similar to the standard SXL range, comprises of a single-sided link-type setup at the front, a mono-shock at the back a disc up front and a drum at the rear.
The lower displacement model has been launched at Rs 1.20 lakh while the 150cc variant will be available for Rs 1.32 lakh.
