Piaggio will launch the Vespa RED scooter in India tomorrow. Although internationally, the Vespa RED is a 946, Piaggio India might get it to an affordable version because the older 946 didn't do well. So, we can expect the Indian version to be either a SXL 150 or VXL 150.
The Vespa RED is a collaboration between Piaggio and charitable organisation, RED. The partnership was first unveiled at a Global Fund event in Rome in June 2016. A certain amount from the sale of each unit of the scooter will be used to support the fight against AIDS in India.
