Vespa has announced the facelift of its 150cc scooters, the SXL150 and VXL150. Three new colours have been added to the range: a matte red, matte yellow, and blue. Machine-cut alloy periphery wheels have also made their debut on the 150cc Vespas. As standard, the SXL and VXL 150 get Bluetooth connectivity, which allows owners to locate nearby service centres via GPS positioning. Riders can also 'find, navigate and follow their bikes', as per the company. There is also a 'Find Me' feature that allows the user to locate the scooter in a parking area. The SXL150 is priced at ₹97,300 and the VXL150 for ₹91,100, ex-showroom, Pune.
Mechanically, there are no changes to the SXL150 and VXL150. They continue to be powered by a 150cc air-cooled single cylinder engine that generates 11bhp and 12Nm. They have front disc brakes and are built around a monocoque chassis and single-sided front suspension with an 'anti-dive' feature.
The Vespa Notte now officially joins the 125cc range as a limited edition. It is a cosmetic variant that gets the all-black treatment. It is priced at ₹68,800, ex-Pune.
