Looks like Volkswagen is interested in two wheels too. The German automaker has unveiled their latest creation – the Last Mile Surfer electric scooter.
This new three-wheeled scooter is the company’s first electric small mobility vehicle that will give the Segway run for their money. Weighing just 11kgs, the Last Mile Surfer is super light and can travel for around 20 kms before the charge runs out.
This piece of equipment could fit in the boot of your car and can be used to travel from the parking lot of the Walmart to the store. Powering this scooter is a lithium-ion battery, which is more than enough for travelling light.
Volkswagen has said that The Last Mile Surfer electric scooter will go on sale in the UK, next year, with a price starting from around £700 (Rs 69,000). A product like this will take time to reach the Indian market because it falls in the niche segment.
