Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India have released a mobile app where you can explore their newly launched motorcycle – the CB Hornet 160R. Customers can book the motorcycle for an amount of Rs 5,000 from the dealer of choice paid through PayUmoney.
The app, also named the CB Hornet 160R, is available on PlayStore for Android users (http://bit.ly/CBHornet160R-App). The application allows you to explore all aspects of the motorcycle including technology, features, specifications and colours. You can also get a price quote from the two variants of the motorcycle based on your location.
The app also has a provision to book the motorcycle for a booking amount of Rs 5,000. The booking process asks you to select the variant, colour and the dealer along with your personal details like phone number and email ID. It then directs you through a payment getaway through PayUmoney for a secure transaction.
The CB Hornet 160R is a premium naked motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer and has a 162.71cc engine that develops a maximum of 15.44bhp of power at 8500rpm and 14.76Nm of torque at 6500rpm. It is available in two variants – Standard and CBS. While both get disc brakes in the front, the latter features the Honda’s proprietary Combi-Brake-System that assists safe braking.
The CB Hornet 160R is priced at Rs 84,469 (ex-showroom Mumbai) and is available in five colours – orange, red, white, blue and black.
