Benelli has launched the 302R in India at Rs 3.48 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). It directly competes with the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Yamaha YZF-R3. Apart from these, the Indian market offers a few other motorcycles at a similar price range. Read along to find out what else a similar budget can buy.
If the 302R’s split headlamps and fairing did not amuse you, Benelli offers the TNT 300, the naked version of the bike. The TNT 300 uses the same engine as the 302R. The 300cc parallel-twin cylinder engine produces 36bhp at 12,000rpm and 27Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. Apart from the naked styling, the TNT 300 has an underbelly exhaust as compared to the 302R’s dual outlet exhaust. The bike is priced at Rs 3.08 lakhs (ex-showroom). The other naked motorcycle you can buy is the Kawasaki Z250. The Z250 is the naked version of the now discontinued, Ninja 250. It uses a 249cc parallel-twin engine which puts out 31.50bhp at 11,000 rpm and 21Nm at 10,000 rpm. The baby Z is priced at Rs 3.06 lakhs (ex-showroom).
But if you are the one who likes an aggressive-looking faired machine, Hyosung GT250R is one such motorcycle. The bike uses a 250cc V-twin engine which produces 28bhp and 22Nm of torque. The GT250R is a splitting image of its bigger sibling, the GT650R and it retails at Rs 2.97 lakhs (ex-showroom).
