- All existing Yamaha dealerships to adapt the Blue Square format by 2025
- Mumbai currently has three Blue Square dealerships
- Aerox 155 and the Yamaha R15 V4 Moto GP paint scheme are the only current premium offerings from the brand
In a bid to offer a more premium experience, Yamaha India is rapidly expanding its Blue Square dealership chain. Yesterday, two more dealerships were inaugurated in Mumbai with the total count now being three.
Blue Square is Yamaha’s speak for the premium dealership model with all the offerings under one roof. Currently, the Aerox 155 and the R15 V4 Moto GP paint scheme are the only premium models exclusive to the Blue Square dealerships. Apart from the motorcycles and scooters, these dealerships also have official Yamaha merchandise, riding gear and other accessories on sale.
As of now, there are five Blue Square dealerships operating in Maharashtra and a total of 73 in the country. Yamaha aims to open 100 dealerships overall by the end of 2022. That said, the Japanese bikemaker aims to convert all its existing showrooms in India into Blue Square by 2025.
