- New MotoGP edition launched recently
- Demands a premium of Rs. 1,500 over standard colours
With the launch of the new MotoGP edition, the Yamaha Aerox 155 is now available in as many as five different colour options. While two of them look bold and snazzy, the other three are for those who prefer understated shades. Let’s take a detailed look at these colours.
Starting with the newest trim, the MotoGP edition boasts an all-black paintwork with Monster Energy decals on the front apron and underseat panels. Further, the Grey Vermillion and metallic black shades boast subtle grey and black body panels, respectively, along with contrasting accents and a white frame. The loudest shade of the colour palette is silver which sports a bright silver front apron along with golden alloy wheels. Yamaha also sells the Aerox in its signature Racing Blue colour scheme with most of its bodywork dipped in blue paint.
The mechanical specifications of all the colour options are identical. The Aerox 155 is powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 14.75bhp and 13.9Nm. Based on an underbone chassis, it rides on large 14-inch wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs. The stopping power comes from a single disc at both ends with single-channel ABS. Furthermore, the feature list includes full-LED lighting, Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, a multifunction key, automatic start and stop system, and a side-stand engine cut-off function.
The new MotoGP edition of the Yamaha Aerox 155 costs Rs. 1,48,300 while the rest of the colours are Rs. 1,500 cheaper.
