Yamaha Motor India’s most expensive scooter just got another price hike in our market. The Aerox 155 maxi-scooter, which received a price revision in January 2022, is now expensive by Rs 1,000. The revised price tag of Rs 1.35 lakh does not bring any cosmetic or mechanical changes to this Japanese maxi-scooter.
The scooter continues to be available in three colours – Racing Blue, Grey Vermillion, and Metallic Black. The feature list retains a twin-pod LED headlight, a digital instrument cluster, an external fuel filler cap, and a liquid-cooled engine. Linked to a CVT gearbox, the 155cc single-cylinder motor is tuned to deliver 14.8bhp at 8,000rpm and 13.9Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.
The closest rival to the Aerox 155 is the Aprilia SXR 160 which is available at Rs 1.30 lakh. Apart from the Aerox 155, Yamaha Motor India has also revised the prices of the YZF-R15 V4.0 and the FZ series in the Indian market.
