Now, talking about the key details of the Yamaha Aerox 155, it is powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled engine that’s derived from the R15 V4’s motor. Featuring variable valve actuation technology, it churns out 14.75bhp and 13.9Nm which is sent to the rear wheel via a CVT transmission system. Unlike most other scooters in the market which incorporate smaller wheels, the Aerox 155 rides on a 14-inch wheel combination that is suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs. Braking is taken care of by a single disc at both ends with single-channel ABS.
The Aerox 155 features an uncommon pit scooter-like design with muscular and sharp body panels and a centre spine running between the seat and the front apron. Feature-wise, it’s decently equipped as there’s an LED headlamp and tail lamp, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, multifunction key, automatic start and stop system, and a side-stand engine cut-off function.
