The Yamaha Aerox 155 has become more expensive along with its other scooter and motorcycle siblings in India. This is the second hike the R15 V4-based scooter has received this year and is now dearer by Rs 1,800.
So, the Aerox 155 is now priced at Rs 1.36 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. However, despite the price hike, the scooter receives no changes. It continues to use the 155cc, single-cylinder engine seen on the R15 but with tweaks to suit the character of the scooter. That said, it still gets liquid-cooling and the Variable Valve Actuation Technology that kicks in at around 5000rpm for better top-end performance that propels the Aerox to a healthy 120kmph.
However, it is now only available in three colour options- Racing Blue, Grey Vermillion and Metallic Black after the MotoGP edition was taken off the shelves a couple months ago.
