- Yamaha Aerox now costs Rs 1.39 lakh
- No changes to mechanicals
- Can now be purchased in Mumbai
Yamaha Motor India has revised the pricing of all its motorcycles and scooters in the country including its Aprilia SXR 160 rival- the Aerox 155.
The scooter’s price has been bumped up by Rs 2,000 so it now costs Rs 1,38,800 as compared to the Rs 1,36,800 it was priced at earlier. However, Yamaha hasn’t changed anything on the Aerox 155 despite the hike in pricing.
It continues to get the sporty maxi-scooter styling and the 155cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that has the VVA technology like the R15 V4. That said, the engine is tuned for the scooter and churns out 14.79bhp and 13.9Nm and it comes mated to a CVT. It performance figures make it one of the fastest scooters available in the country.
In terms of features, the Aerox 155 offers a TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, conveniently-placed fuel filler at the front and a massive underseat storage that can fit a full-face helmet.
