- Yamaha Aerox 155 dearer by Rs 2,000
- Priced from Rs 1.30 lakh
- Receives no other changes
Yamaha India has hiked the prices across its range of motorcycles and scooters including the Aerox 155.
The R15-based scooter is now Rs 2,000 more expensive than before and is priced from Rs 1,30,500 for the Monster Energy Edition which gets the MotoGP-inspired graphics. Meanwhile, the Racing Blue, Metallic Black and Grey Vermillion paint schemes are now priced at Rs 1,31,000; an increase from the previous price of Rs 1.29 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
However, the Aerox 155 gets no other changes and continues with the same hardware and features. It comes powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with VVA technology that churns out 15bhp. As for utilitarian features, it gets a 24.5-litre under seat storage, an easily accessible fuel filler cap at the front and idle-start-stop system.
Now, Yamaha is focused on positioning the Aerox 155 as a premium offering and will only sell it through its Blue Square dealerships that are currently scarce across India.
