- Yamaha Aerox World MotoGP Edition revealed
- Gets special livery
- Unlikely to be launched in India
The Yamaha Aerox 155 that was recently launched in India now receives a special edition called the World MotoGP 60th Anniversary Edition in Indonesia. The scooter was unveiled alongside the special editions of the R1, R7, and R3.
Now, the Aerox 155 World MotoGP 60th Anniversary Edition is built to commemorate Yamaha’s 60 years of GP racing. And it gets a special livery to match. It sports white paint with a red front fender and Speed Block pattern on the side panels. The scooter also features yellow on the front cowl and bronze-finished rims to complete the look.
However, the rest of the scooter is the same as the one sold in India. It comes powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 15bhp and 13.9Nm. The list of features includes a 5.8-inch LCD with Bluetooth connectivity, external fuel lid, USB charging port, and multi-function ket slot.
As tempting as the Yamaha Aerox 155 World MotoGP edition looks, it is unlikely to be launched in India anytime soon. Instead, we have the Monster Energy MotoGP colour scheme that retails at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
