Hungarian two-wheeler manufacturer, Keeway has announced the launch of the Yamaha Aerox 155-rival Vieste 300 in the Indian market at an introductory price tag of Rs 2.99 lakh. The bookings for the product are open for a token amount of Rs 10,000. This new maxi-scooter packs styling elements such as split-style headlights that are mounted on the apron, tinted flyscreen, split-style footboard, and step-up saddle.
The scooter is powered by a 278.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 18.7bhp of power and 22Nm of peak torque. In comparison, the Aerox 155 draws 14.79bhp and 13.9Nm from its 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine.
The Hungarian maxi-scooter also packs premium features such as LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and keyless operation. The LCD screen is flanked by two analogue dials that display tachometer and speedometer. The LCD screen shows time, engine temperature, fuel level, odometer, and speedometer.
The shock absorption hardware includes telescopic front forks and dual rear springs. The anchoring duties are performed by a 240mm disc at the front and a 220mm rotor at the back while the safety net is handled by dual-channel ABS.
