The new Yamaha Aerox Alpha has been unveiled in international markets. The scooter bears a few changes over its predecessor, the Aerox 155 that is currently on sale in India. Here’s a look at the details in images.
The design of the scooter has been tweaked slightly. It gets new, twin projector LED headlights with inset turn indicators. Their shape is sharper and more aggressive than the previous units.
The tail light has also been redesigned and it is a vertical unit which resembles the LED tail lights on Yamaha’s sportsbikes such as the R7.
The Aerox Alpha also gets a new, modern TFT display that replaces the negative LCD unit. It features Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and more.
Yamaha has also introduced an eCVT system because of which the scooter has three ride modes. The Aerox Alpha also has a traction control system.
Powering the scooter is a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 15bhp and 14Nm.
Yamaha may have plans to launch the Aerox Alpha in India sometime next year.
