Yamaha announces customisation program for MT-15

- Customers can choose from 11 combinations

- Price fixed at Rs 1,43,900 (ex-showroom Delhi)

- No mechanical changes to the motorcycle

Yamaha has introduced the color customisation program for its 155cc roaster motorcycle, the MT-15. This new campaign is aimed to attract the young customers to the MT series. The “Customise your Warrior” program has been launched from November 20 across the country.

The program is available only for the new purchases from the date of launch. Buyers can avail the option of building colours for their MT-15 by choosing from 11 combinations. The vehicles will be made by Yamaha based on the order received from the customers.

Deliveries of the customised MT-15 will start from January 2021. The yellow color wheel model will start rolling out from March 2021. With this campaign the MT-15 will be available in 14 unique colors, out which three existing standard colors will be readily available at the dealerships. The ex-showroom price (Delhi) has been fixed at Rs 1,43,900.

The changes will be limited to styling upgrades. The mechanical specifications, on the other hand, will continue to include a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor with fuel injection technology and Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system. Linked to a six-speed transmission, the motor produces 18.23bhp at 10,000rpm and 13.9Nm at 8,500rpm. The feature list includes an assist and a slipper clutch and a single-channel ABS.
