Yamaha has been quiet of late but the manufacturer had a full stall at the Expo. The showstopper was Motoroid, a robot that is motorcycle-shaped and can respond to simple commands.
The big launch of the day was the YZF-R15 V3, and also on display was the MT-09 Tracer. While you can read about the former here, the latter was merely for display. There were also special edition Fascinos on display, which didn’t appear to be anything more than different paint schemes.
Conspicuous by its absence was the YZF-R3, but Yamaha also tells us it has a launch scheduled for the 9th, the day after tomorrow. Make of it what you will.
