Amidst the increasing number of Coronavirus cases, stepping outdoors has been restricted to only essential activities. Hence, most of the two-wheeler makers have resorted to online vehicle retail strategies. Joining the queue now is Yamaha which has announced the commencement of its online two-wheeler sales platform.
Under its campaign called ‘The Call of the Blue,’ Yamaha has introduced a new user-friendly website comprising of online sales facility. This includes a virtual store with a 360-degree view of the products, which was already available on websites of several other brands even before the pandemic. The visitors can also view specification comparison between Yamaha offerings. Moreover, Yamaha dealers are using digital platforms for communicating with customers while giving contactless deliveries of two-wheelers.
Yamaha will kickstart its online sales module from Chennai which will gradually reach to around 300 dealerships across India. On a different note, Yamaha has updated most of its products in accordance with the new BS6 emissions norms and the latest offering to join the refreshed portfolio is the FZ25 BS6 street bike.
