- Rolls out a new offer for frontline workers in India
- Cashback of up to Rs 5,000 available on its 125cc scooters
It has been 66 years today on 1 July, 2021, since Yamaha Motor Company was established in 1955 in Japan. And the company is celebrating the occasion in India by offering a special benefit to the frontline workers who have been playing a major role in the battle against the deadly COVID-19 virus.
Under this scheme called ‘Gratitude Bonus’, all the frontline warriors including sanitation workers, medical staff, police and armed personnel, and municipal workers are entitled to a cashback of up to Rs 5,000 on the purchase of either the Yamaha Fascino 125 or the Ray ZR 125 scooter. Furthermore, the Japanese bike maker also conducted certain online and digital initiatives to express its gratitude towards people who have been contributing in bringing some respite during this tough period of the pandemic.
It’s worth noting that the ‘Gratitude Bonus’ scheme is available only in select cities including Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune. Also, the validity of the offer is set from 1 July to 7 July, 2021.
Taking about the Yamaha Ray ZR 125 and the Fascino 125, both scooters have received new hybrid power assist accompanying their 125cc engine. Yamaha has also bestowed them with a new LED headlamp, Bluetooth connectivity and updated graphics. However, the prices of these facelifted versions are yet to be officially announced.
