With the last update, the Ray ZR 125 and the Fascino 125 both received a major change in their engine – the inclusion of Hybrid technology. This resulted in a marginal bump in their torque output figures and slightly peppier acceleration in the real world. Both scooters now churn out 8.04bhp of maximum power and 10.3Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, there are additional features too over the older non-Hybrid version.
The Yamaha Fascino 125 and the Ray ZR 125 compete against the likes of the Suzuki Access 125, Honda Activa 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125, and TVS Jupiter 125.
