Yamaha Motor India has revised the pricing of its entire line-up including its 125cc scooters- the Yamaha Fascino and Ray ZR. This revision is just a month after the manufacturer hiked its prices in April and now, both scooters are priced at a premium of Rs 1,000 each.
The Fascino is priced from Rs 76,100 for the Drum Std. and goes up to Rs 85,130 for the Disc DLX version. You also get the Drum DLX at Rs 83,130, the Disc Std. at Rs 82,130 and the Disc DLX at Rs 84,130.
On the other hand, the pricing for the Yamaha Ray ZR starts at Rs 80,230 for the Drum version. It is also available in Disc Std at Rs 83,430, the Disc DLX variant at Rs 84,430 and the top-spec version at Rs 87,430.
However, despite the increase in prices, the 125cc scooters do not get any other changes. They continue to come powered by a engine that churns out 8.04bhp and 10.3Nm. It also get a hybrid system that is said to add to the convenience and fuel-efficiency of the scooters. In terms of competition, the scooters go up against the TVS Ntorq 125, Aprilia SR 125 and Suzuki Access and Avenis 125 in the country.
