Yamaha has issued a recall for the FZ 25 and Fazer 25 in India. The recall addresses an issue with the motorcycle’s engine head cover bolt.
The faulty bolt could come loose which might result in the seizing of the engine. It affects 13,348 motorcycles manufactured from June 2018. Out of this number, 12,620 units of FZ 25 and 728 units of the Fazer 25 have been affected.
Yamaha dealers will contact the affected customers individually and fix the issue free of cost. However, we also recommend visiting the nearest Yamaha dealer to check for the issue. In other news, Yamaha recently launched the BS-VI FZ and FZ-S in India and will soon launch a new BS-VI product on 19 December.
