Yamaha India recently launched the FZ-S FI V4 in two new paint schemes. With the addition of a couple of new colours, the FZ-S FI V4 is now available in a total of five colour options – Dark Matte Blue and Matte Black for the standard version and Metallic Grey, Majesty Red, and Metallic Black for the Deluxe trim.
The two variants are priced at just Rs. 500 apart. The standard trim costs Rs. 1,28,900, while the Deluxe model is priced at Rs. 1,29,400 (both ex-showroom, Delhi). The FZ-S FI V4 is powered by a 149cc single-cylinder motor that makes 12.2bhp and 13.3Nm. It’s mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Yamaha has offered LED illumination, ABS, and a fully digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity on the FZ-S. It gives you access to call alerts, SMS and e-mail notifications, phone battery status, and more. Meanwhile, the hardware includes telescopic front forks, monoshock, and a single disc brake at both ends. The FZ-S rides on 17-inch tyres shod with 100/80 front and 140/60 rear tyres.
The FZ-S FI V4 rivals the Suzuki Gixxer, Honda CB Hornet 160R, and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V in its segment.
