India Yamaha Motor has announced a massive price cut for the FZ25 and the FZS25 motorcycles. With these new prices in effect, the quarter-litre range is now available from Rs 1,34,800 as against Rs 1,53,600 previously, making it Rs 18,800 cheaper than before. The FZS25, on the other hand, is Rs 19,300 cheaper than earlier. Check out the new and the old prices below:
- FZ25: Rs 1,34,800 (vs. Rs 1,53,600)
- FZS25: Rs 1,39,300 (vs. Rs 1,58,600)
The company said in the press statement that it has managed to bring down the input costs for the FZ 25 Series and passed on the benefit to its customers. With this price revision, the company aims to reach to a wider audience base in the country. India Yamaha Motor also added in the press announcement that irrespective of the price reduction, the FZ 25 series will continue to retain its standard features and specifications.
The quarter-litre range uses a 249cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.5bhp at 8,000rpm and 20.1Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The motor is linked to a five speed gearbox.
