- Yamaha FZ25 range priced from Rs 1.44 lakh
- Price hike of Rs 1,300
- Gets no other changes
Yamaha has increased the prices of its motorcycles and scooters for two consecutive months in a row. Even its sole 250cc offerings, the FZ25 and FZS 25 get a price hike of Rs 1,300 each, effective from this month.
Now, the FZ25 is priced at Rs 1.44 lakh as opposed to the Rs 1.43 lakh price tag it came with in April. On the other hand, the FZS 25 costs Rs 1.49 lakh. In comparison, it was priced at Rs 1.47 lakh earlier. However, Yamaha has kept the FZ25 range unchanged despite the price increase. It uses a 249cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.5bhp at 8,000rpm and 20.1Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. The motor comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
As for the features offered, the Yamaha FZ 25 range comes with a full-LED projector headlamp and DRL along with an LED tail lamp. While its negative LCD instrument cluster now seems dated, it keeps things minimal while doing the job. Moreover, both motorcycle variants come with engine cut off and dual-channel ABS as standard.
The Yamaha FZ 25 sports a brawny and sporty appeal with large, faux air scoops on either side of the fuel tank, and a split seat setup with faux-air ducts on the rear panel. Even the front end looks radical and cool. The FZS 25, further adds a bit of flair with its knuckle guards and windscreen.
