-Yamaha FZ25 priced at Rs 1.44 lakh
- Monster Energy edition sold out
- Now available in two colours
Yamaha has taken the FZ25 Monster Energy Edition off the shelves in India from this month. The motorcycle was the most affordable variant priced at Rs 1.38 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Monster Energy variant came with special livery to set it apart. Based on the Metallic Black colour, the FZ25 was adorned with the Monster Energy and ENEOS logos like the MotoGP machine and also came with a hint of blue on the headlamp cowl and fuel tank. However, the FZ25 Monster Energy edition remains similar to the other versions. It uses a 249cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 20.5bhp and 20.1Nm. The motor comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
That said, the Yamaha FZ 25 range comes with a full-LED projector headlamp LED DRL and an LED tail lamp. It also gets a negative LCD instrument cluster that now seems dated, does the job while keeping things simple. Additionally, it comes with an engine cut off function and dual-channel ABS as standard. Now, with the Monster Energy Edition gone, the FZ 25 is available in a choice of two colours options- Metallic Black and Racing Blue.
