- Yamaha FZ25 Marvels edition launched in Brazil
- Comes in two variants with graphics inspired by Captain Marvel and Black Panther
- Could be launched in India in the coming days
One of the ways to pump up the excitement in a two-wheeler and attract more youngsters is adorning it with superhero-inspired graphics. And that’s what TVS did recently with its Ntorq 125 which is now available in Marvels Avengers edition, named the SuperSquad. Now, Yamaha has taken a similar route with its FZ25 street bike in Brazil. Two new variants of the bike – Captain Marvel and Black Panther have been introduced in the country, with decals inspired by these fictional characters.
Yamaha is known for introducing fancy colours and graphics for its products. Take the MT 15 for instance, which can now be opted from one of the 11 available customisation options in India. This had made the already radical-looking 155cc street bike even more aspirational, especially for young riders. Considering this approach of Yamaha in India, the aforementioned Marvels edition of the FZ25 might also land in our country in the coming days.
During the BS6 transition, the Yamaha FZ25 received a styling makeover which brought along a new front fascia. It comes equipped with a few modern features such as a full-LED headlamp, an LCD console,, a side-stand engine cut-off switch and dual-channel ABS. Powering the motorcycle is a 249cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine which churns out 20.5bhp and 20.1Nm. The gearbox comprises of five cogs.
In the quarter-litre segment, the Yamaha FZ25 competes against the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Bajaj Dominar 250 in India.
