- Styling and mechanical specifications remain unaltered
Yamaha Motor India has announced the launch of the FZS FI Vintage edition in the country at Rs 1,09,700 (ex-showroom Delhi). This new variant of the FZS will be available at Yamaha dealerships across the country from the first week of December 2020.
The styling cues on the FZS FI Vintage edition are identical to the standard motorcycle. However, this special edition gets a Vintage Green paint along with new graphics and leather finish seat cover that distinguishes it from the standard FZS FI. The Vintage edition also benefits from the Bluetooth connectivity feature that works with the “Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X” application.
The mechanical specifications and hardware are similar to the standard FZS-FI. Thus, the Vintage edition comes with telescopic front forks, a rear mono-shock and disc brakes on both wheels along with the safety net of single-channel ABS. The feature list includes an LED headlight, negative LCD instrument cluster, and an engine under cowl.
The motorcycle is powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 12.2bhp at 7,250rpm and 13.6Nm at 5,500rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
