- Price hiked for both bikes
- No changes have been made
- Third hike since June 2022
Besides the R15 V4 series, Yamaha India has revised the asking price for the FZ-X and the FZ25. The latest upwards revision is nominal and here are the new prices.
Yamaha FZ-X: Rs 1,33,900
Yamaha FZ25: Rs 1,46,900
Both bikes now cost Rs 1,000 more than before. The updated price brings no updates to either model and is a result of increasing commodity prices. That said, the latest price bump is nominal and unlikely to affect the potential buyer’s decision. However, this is the third price hike since the one in June.
The FZ25 continues to employ the same 249cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with the output rated at 20.51 bhp and 20.1Nm. It features LED illumination, a fully digital instrument console, and ABS. Meanwhile, the FZ-X houses a 149cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor dishing out 12.2 bhp and 13.3 Nm. It too is mated to a five-speed gearbox and gets LED illumination, ABS, and a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity.
Even with its revised asking price of Rs 1.46 lakh, the Yamaha FZ25 remains one of the most affordable quarter-litre bikes you can buy today in India.
